Gynecology Services - Adolescence
Adolescence is a time when a girl’s body is transforming into a women’s body. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends that a young woman should have her first doctor’s appointment before age 18. She should see a physician sooner if she is considering to become sexually active or is having problems such as painful or excessive bleeding during menstruation.
